Archie:  “Good morning, Helping Hand”

Caller:  “Archie…..we’re having a yard sale today up here on north Main street.  We have some kids clothes, some ladies dresses, some dishes and silverware, and lots more.  You’ll just have to come by see what all we have.  For more information my number is 586………”  

 

And so another edition of America’s Favorite Show, the “Helping Hand” is off and running, heard each morning on WRAB Monday through Saturday starting at 8:30 am.
 
The "Helping Hand" gives callers a chance to advertise their items to buy, sell and trade.  Of course, no businesses please to buy, sell or provide a service.  (However, any business is welcome to advertise with WRAB.  Please call and talk with one of our sales associates.)

When calling the “Helping Hand”, we ask that you follow a few simple rules.

Call in your items to buy, sell or trade.
  1. Only 1 call per day per household.  Make sure your radio is turned down and please, finish your call with your telephone number.
Mail your cards and letters.
  1. If you can’t call, you are welcome to send a card or letter and we’ll be glad to read it on the air.  Send your information to:

    Or, drop your announcement by the WRAB studios located at 619 South Brindlee Mountain Parkway during regular business hours, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.  No emails please.
  1. Cards or letters will be read daily for two weeks but please, notify us when your item is no longer available.
